Every AE student is required to take core courses that exceed NJ State Standards. In addition, students study the specialized field of their choice via required and elective classes. Because of the spread of the intellectual preparedness for incoming classes, students are placed according to abilities in their world language, mathematics, and attend 4 years of classes in their Academy focus. Electives are offered every trimester which are open to all students.
