The Information Systems Academy is a career academy where students learn how computers, networks and different softwares work.
The curriculum draws together information about computers and networks by Cisco Information Systems and Microsoft Corportation. Successful students qualify for the CompTia A+, CompTia Network+ and MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technicians) certifications by these companies. Four years of classes include, CompTia A+ Certification, Advanced Networked Systems, Java Programming and Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician.
Many technology elective courses are offered to the students within the Information Systems Academy as well as the whole school. The structure of the Information Systems Academy is fluid and is adjusted to reflect the trends of industry for Information Systems professionals.
